The locals thought maybe it was grave robber's that was desecrating the graves. Probably some young kids just messing around or looking for trinkets to make a quick buck, that was the most common belief. But what they didn't know is there is more than the dead in some graveyards. There are rumors of a creature that got called “The Bone snatcher" from the natives of the area many many years ago because it would steal the bones of the dead and suck out the bone marrow.

No one believed those stories thinking that they were just a myth. The locals will find out soon enough though if they are wandering into the graveyard in the pale moonlight looking to scare their date or rob the graves. Typically the Bone Snatcher would go for the dead as they were easy food, but nothing beats nice fresh food and the Bone Snatcher could quickly develop a taste for fresh bone marrow....
