Rebirth – The ruins had laid quiet for over a decade and the evil that had happened here had destroyed all life for at least 100 miles in all directions.

The area was once full of life with nothing but a sea of beautiful green grasses, trees and bushes not to mention flowers that put off the most pleasing of smells. The temple contained one of the most powerful artifacts of all time.

It was called “The Dragon's Tooth” because of its shape like the tooth of a large dragon, and it had the power of life as well as death if used wrongly. A priest at the temple tried to use the tooth for the dark lord and was not able to contain its power. Everything and everyone was wiped out in a 100 mile radius around the temple and anything that tried to enter would age rapidly and die within seconds.

This was a punishment for trying to use the tooth for purposes other than what the light had intended. However, something had changed, the priestess was able to enter the dead zone and walk to the temple without any resistance.

She found the Dragon's Tooth still resting on a pedestal that had been its resting place for so long. She looked around at dead ground that once contained so much life and the death continued as she walked among the ruins. He heart sank as she realized nothing had been saved.

Removing the bag she carried with her she took out candles and books that contained all the knowledge she could find on the tooth and how to hopefully revive it.

As night fell and the moon rose in the sky the time had come to start the ritual. The priestess lit the candles which the glow of the lights seemed to be absorbed by the tooth as it started to rise and hover above the pedestal.

As it glowed with full power, she raised her left hand up to the tooth and the right above the ground. With a loud crack of thunder, the tooth shot a glowing powerful wave of energy that coiled and entwined over her body and down to the ground. Ruins carved into the columns that was still standing glowed with a holy magic.

The raw elemental power of the tooth quickly erased the dead ground and a healthy brightly green bush started to grow as the power of the tooth radiated out, erasing all of the evil that had been done and once again restored the beauty of the lands around the Temple of the Moon...
